AMR AHMED HEGAZY
Associate - MEP
Amr graduated from Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University in Egypt with a BSC in Electrical Power & Machine Engineering in 1997-1998. He is a Certified PE (Professional Engineer) from Engineers Australia with 20 years of working experience in MEP design and project management in UAE, KSA, Qatar and Bahrain.
Amr has worked on several of Dubai’s landmark projects such as Burj Khalifa – the world tallest tower, Ritz Carlton Hotel- Jumeirah and Index Tower (designed by Norman Foster). He has also been responsible for managing the MEP teams for large schemes of projects with high MEP complexity such as Al Amal Hospital (270 beds), Al Ruwais new Hospital and in KSA SFMC Hospital (1650 beds).
Prior Joining SIEC, Amr worked for Tractebel Engie as MEP Manager. Some of the projects handled were Al Wakrah Stadium (FIFA World Cup 2022), Jeddah Tower (The World Tallest tower – under construction). Over the 20 years’ experience, Amr worked for WSP, Samsung Corporation, ADNOC, Hill International and Manens Tifs SPA.
