JUNIOR MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

 

Position Summary:

A Junior Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer creates and modifies drawings for all existing and new projects under general supervision and assists in MEP team design presentations and reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of MEP and/ or Electrical Engineering experience.

  • Skilled experience in  Revit, Auto CAD and other drawing production base program.

  • Skilled at producing reports and presentations using Adobe Indesign and Microsoft Powerpoint

  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills.

  • Ability to work well within a team of other professionals.

  • Interacts well with other disciplines in a manner that builds productive relations.

  • Familiarity with 3D drawings modelling-based programs.

  • Requirements Analysis, Deadline-Oriented, Self-Motivated, MEP and Electrical Design Skills, Analyzing Information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Mechanical and/ or Electrical Engineers to gather information and requirements to produce MEP designs drawings.

  • Convert MEP designs into technical plans.

  • Create MEP drawings with Revit, Computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drawing production base program.

  • Preparation of MEP design reports using Adobe InDesign and MS Powerpoint, to assist MEP team produce design presentations and reports including Graphics and Systems Comparison.

  • Coordinate all information with MEP team throughout the entire project.

  • Modifies drawings as per MEP Engineers instructions.

  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information, conferring with MEP Engineers.
