INTERIOR DESIGNER (JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE)

 

Position Summary:

We are looking for a creative and talented Interior designer to undertake a variety of projects with SIEC. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design.

The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing and aligned with specific client vision.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience in the hospitality and residential sectors as a minimum. Expertise in other typologies is an advantage but not essential.

• Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design and rendering.

• Excellent portfolio of previous works

• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design

• Communication and presentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or similar

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the region and 5 years for intermediate level.

 

Specific Skills

• Undertake design project from concept to completion

• Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”

• Interpret and translate client needs into layouts, sketches, 3D perspectives, renders etc.

• Research and decide on materials and products sourcing

• Produce “sample” and “mood products”

• Work closely with architects and other related engineering disciplines.

• Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises
