DECLAN O' DONNELL

Senior Associate - Design

Declan joined SIEC as a Senior Associate and Project Manager to oversee the execution of the Amaala Red Sea project.

He has a Bachelor Degree in Architecture and a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice and Management in Architecture from Bristol University of West England, and an Honours Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning. Declan is also a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB).

With over 16 years of professional practice experience in the UK and Middle East, Declan has led a number of multi-billion AED master planning projects and delivered multiple building typologies from concept through to completion in the Residential, Retail, Commercial Office, Civic and Infrastructure sectors, winning several notable architectural and engineering awards.

With a background in Urban and Town Planning, Declan has a specific interest in place making and enriching architecture through an understanding of site and cultural context, with consideration of sustainable building methods and the latest cutting edge technologies, balanced with maintaining commercial viability and buildability.
