DESIGN TECHNICIAN - DRY UTILITIES

 

Summary:

Drafts man - Dry Utilities has the overall responsibility for Preparing the Following:

• utility Cross sections as Per RTA standard for Private development & Governmental development.

• Dry utility networks, such as HV, MV, LV, Telecom, Streetlighting, ITS, ICT etc.

• Infrastructure layouts (Utilities & Roads) in UAE & KSA with RTA, DEWA, SEWA, ADDC & SEC standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain electrical infrastructure BIM models using Civil 3D/CAD software

• Must be able to undertake clash analysis for utilities independently and provide solutions to mitigate conflicts

• Knowledge of creating/updating the catalogues and part lists.

• Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines for drafting assignments.

• Develops and distributes prints and exports for team coordination & final drawing/model deliverables.

• Ability to create parametric library elements in Civil3D

• Ability to create templates and comply with project/client styles, line work, and naming conventions in both Revit and Civil3D.

• Ability to understand the design process for disciplines

Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or related field

Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar position.

Minimum of 10 years of experience With Civil 3D, AutoCAD

Minimum of 5 years experience With Revit
