JUNIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

(EGYPT BRANCH)

Summary:

 

The Mechanical Engineer has a staff function within the technical operation on site. Work closely with the Site Supervisor/Team Leader he has to organize, analyze and optimize the daily operation in terms of technical issues. It also involves on Mechanical Design and review for all design works in close coordination with
Architectural and MEP team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

​

  • ​Mechanical Design and review

  • Manage site, Administration of all Client Hard and Software on site.

  • Preparing of monthly reporting (availability, material consumption, maintenance indicators) internally and

      externally through of vulnerability assessments, development of appropriate measures to remedy
      weaknesses and their implementation, provided they have been approved by the Site Supervisor.

  • Perform and maintain the existing system documentation and Mechanical maintenance reports.

  • Provides the information flow through all layers of the on-site Mechanical team with regard to technical

      problems and coordinates layer across troubleshooting.

  • Creates training materials for new staff and training for the service personnel.

  • Detecting and monitoring work safety measures.

  • Produce designs for all Mechanical Systems.

  • Mechanical design calculations, sizing, and analysis.

  • To produce specifications for critical part of mechanical installations.

  • To develop the mechanical systems including developing all necessary drawings, technical submissions,

       calculations and descriptions of operation to construction standard.

  • To liaise with all sub-contractors and ensure that all drawings are issued with all required information.

  • To check and approve material submittals with respect to Technical Design

  • Providing technical support for incoming inquiries and queries

Qualifications & Technical Skills

 

  • Mechanical degree in Engineering.

  • Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics.

  • 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

  • Construction procedures and practices.

  • Computer literate.

  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
