AL REYAMI VILLA

In a region where cultures usually fuse, the Al Reyami Villa in Abu Dhabi is a multicultural experience.

While the architecture is reminiscent of the traditional regional house typically consisting of a symmetrical two-storey structure built around a central courtyard and decorated with arches, and rooms opening to the courtyard, the interior design explores more of a contemporary approach, blending an assymetrical flow of transluscent partitioning and opening up the entry hall rooms sequences into one large and double height hall with sculptured interior elements.

These contemporary design elements sculptured and refined with brass, timber wall cladding, rich porcelain, mosaic flooring patterns and carpets, blend with a more traditional living / majlis space, keeping its functions as social living and hosting. Built in seating alcoves designed with typical construction techniques using natural materials such as coral, mud brick, dry stone, wood and thatch.

A dynamic interior design approach and décor set to break symmetry with a sophisticated traditional setup.
