TELECOMMUNICATION / ELV DESIGN ENGINEER

 

Summary:

This position involves various engineering and design tasks related to ELV and security systems. The systems include structure cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, public address, BGM, BMS, audiovisual, DAS, nurse call, intrusion system, and disabled alarm system. The engineer assists in preparing specifications, data sheets, and construction documents. They provide input to BIM/AutoCAD designers/drafters working on the same project and perform Revit/CAD tasks. Additionally, they carry out other responsibilities as needed and prepare technical design reports with minimal support from senior engineers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs various engineering and design assignments for ELV and security systems like (Structure cabling systems, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BGM, BMS, Audio Visual, DAS, Nurse call, intrusion system, disabled alarm systems)

  • Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

  • Provides input to BIM / Auto Cad Designer/Drafters working on the same project. You will be required to carry out Revit / CAD related tasks.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Preparing technical design reports with minimum support from the senior engineer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/ Electrical Engineering.

  • max 5-7 experience in Telecommunication /ELV design of large various projects.

  • The engineer shall have deep knowledge and design experience in ELV systems.

  • proficiency in using Revit & AutoCAD and other related software.

  • Prior experience working in a consultancy is essential.

  • Fully conversant with the BICSSI, ANSI/ TIA, IEEE, and BS standards as well as Local Authority regulations such as Etisalat/ DU and/ or other authorities within Gulf region.
