SIEC has been appointed as the Lead Design Consultancy to develop Phase 0, Phase A and Phase B at Ghaf Woods, Dubai.
The design is envisaged to offer a luxury multifamily residential community organized around a central forest and community heart.
The vision creates a series of community clusters living out onto the central forest.
The massing and organization of the buildings attempts to create the feeling of buildings in a forest. By reducing the impact of roads and negative surrounding edges from the urban context the project offers an escape from the urban context. The seamless integration between the forest and the residential buildings/podiums and clusters, creates a multitude of landscape experiences such as sunken courtyards, green podiums and vertical gardens.
