Strategically positioned to serve the three Amaala Resorts on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, Amaala Airport is designed to deliver a bespoke guest experience, focusing on the luxury needs of both VIP and aspirational travellers.

One of the airport’s standout features is its commitment to providing a seamless, non-intrusive travel experience while efficiently handling high volumes of business travellers and commercial airliners. By 2030, Amaala Airport is projected to accommodate 1.1 million passengers per annum.

Our involvement in this prestigious project includes the Structural and MEP design of the Passenger Terminal Building and the Air Traffic Control Tower—both iconic elements of the airport. Additionally, our scope extends to the design of various ancillary buildings within the airport’s boundaries, including the Royal Terminal, type BC and Maintenance hangars, Staff Administration and Cargo Building, Fire Station, Technical Building, Airside and Landside Gatehouses, as well as the Main Entrance Gatehouse, all serviced by multidisciplinary engineering expertise.
