BIM ARCHITECT

 

Summary:

The BIM Architect will be responsible for creating and managing detailed architectural designs and construction models using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools. The BIM Architect will also be responsible for collaborating with internal and external design teams, maintaining project schedules, and prepare detailed design, IFT and IFC drawings

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Aiding the Architect & Senior Architect with all aspects of design development. 

• Responsible for the BIM development of projects from concept to completion. 

• Responsible for all implementation of the office BIM standard.

• Responsible for all technical detailing and production of technical drawings

• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.

• Preparing Revit model as well as creating sheets & annotations for the same.

• Communication and coordinating with various disciplines and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.

• Preparing, reviewing, and re-drafting alongside the architecture and engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 Years UAE Experience with background in BIM Consultancy preferably in the gulf countries

• Complete design coordination with design teams including review, comments.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Good multitasking and ability to manage strict deadlines

• Develop accurate drawings and extract data based on the discipline BIM platform.

• Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.

• Understand the project requirements and objectives and develop a BIM model accordingly.
