SENIOR ARCHITECT 
QUALITY ASSURANCE

 

Summary:

  • A Senior Architect – Quality Assurance, review all design drawings, shop drawings for all design discipline
    from the team prior to submission of the project for the client’s presentation and building permitting.

  • Coordinate with the design team regarding all local codes requirement for all projects, from all UAE Municipalities and all Authorities having jurisdiction.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Architectural review and comment of architectural plans/drawings for all assigned projects to ensure the
    compliancy with all the required design guidelines, codes and regulations set out by clients, master
    developers all authorities having jurisdiction. 

  •  Coordinate with design teams to establish building permitting strategy, scheduling milestones target dates
    of project deliverables, the scope of works in terms of architectural review and approvals.

  •  Facilitate technical checking of all aspects of architectural requirement such as completeness of project   information submission, general drawing presentations, building compliancy, accessibility compliance and

  •  NOC is required for every project type.

  •  Ensure that all architectural comments issued to the Project Architect have complied, prior to the
    submission for their final building permit issuance.

  •  Review and update the processes & systems associated with the QA review process.

  •  Keep and update information tabulation regarding Code comparison on all Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

  •  Assist on code information extraction input to help the design team regarding Authority's requirements.

 

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

  • 10 years of working experience in the field of Architecture, Design and Technical Review and Approval, As-built drawings review and approval, Site Architect/Designer, Interior Design, Production of Design Concept presentations, Production of Design Guidelines and Review Processes, Implementation of Design Guidelines, Technical Drawing production.
