DESIGN ARCHITECT

 

Position Summary:

Creates designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments. A specialist in construction knowledge and high-level drawing skills to design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. 

 

Qualifications:

• Excellent design, drawing and presentation skills are essential.

• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite Programs and Sketch Up Pro is preferable.

• Candidates should be able to demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience of working on projects with involvement through all stages from Concept, Scheme and Detail Design.

 

Specific Skills:

• Revit Knowledge essential
• Graduate degree essential / Chartered Degree Advantageous
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience working as a part of a team on mid- large-scale projects.
• Work well under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently, resilient to cope with conflicting demands and able to prioritize tasks given.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, and able to take responsibility whilst recognizing the importance of learning from others.
• Taking initiative in response to direction and a proactive approach to daily tasks
• Work efficiently under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times
• Basic understanding of UAE Building and Planning regulations and codes advantageous
