SIEC has been commissioned by Mirage to carry out a preliminary design for 12,000 square meters at Rove Hotel on plots RBW8-C1 and RBW8-1 located on Al Dana Island. The Waterfront Development is part of Al Raha Beach Master Plan.

SIEC very much recognise the need to develop a product that is cost effective, adaptable and ensures smart connectivity. In addition, to create a product for Rove hotels that offers a comfortable and contemporary environment for its guests. As an operator Rove hotel will be providing all essentials and values for savvy travellers, who lead a fast-paced urban life. Rove hotels reflect the core attributes of the dynamic lifestyle brand.

A conceptual massing option was developed in line with the specific site coverage, and setback restrictions of the site. The focus was to maximise the efficiency of the building layout by limiting the number of cores and reducing the area of circulation whilst maximising the leasable areas with predominant unobstructed views toward Al Raha Canal and Marina.
