SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER - 

INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN EXPERIENCE

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design of all the mechanical systems related to the infrastructure pump stations for a variety of infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project managers, Infrastructure engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful design of projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

  • Candidate Must have experience / work in Mechanical Infrastructure Projects.

  • Experience of Design in pumping stations (raw/potable water, sewage, Irrigation, Storm drainage, Firefighting) particularly in association with pumps and associated piping, preparation of pump curve, selection of pumps, air blowers, chlorination equipment and services inside the pump room.

  • Have a strong technical background and capability to design in all project lifecycle Concept, Schematic, Detail design, and IFC design packages.

  • Responsible for the preparation and review of mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for the design projects.

  • Design All Mechanical components for large-scale projects, including analyzing modeling, reports, calculations, and client requirements to ensure specifications meet project goals.

  • Review sub-consultants submittals to verify the designs meet client requirements.

  • Having the capabilities to reply to the contractors RFP’s and solve any site issues related to the design.

  • Responsible for the participation in the progress and coordination meetings of the design projects.

  • Coordination with all applicable Gulf Authority to obtain approval on design projects.

  • Do the necessary coordination with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design projects.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Proven experience in design, with a minimum of [8-10] years in a similar role, preferably with GCC experience.

  • Proficiency in analysis software, in addition to CAD software.

  • familiarized with BIM/Revit modeling is advantage.

  • Full awareness of international design codes and local regulations requirements specially for the infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of UAE regulations and permitting processes.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
